I’d watch this one. I’d like to know more about how this stuff works, producing, casting, dealing with actors’ egos, and what the heck the “Best Boy” does.

Get **Joss Whedon** to do it. I’d love to watch the development of a mythology.

_Apprentice: Randi_ – Contestants accompany veteran magician/debunker/all-around skeptic James Randi as he observes spoon-bending telekinetics, remote viewers, spirit mediums, and other people ostensibly gifted with paranormal powers. In each episode, the contestant who is either fooled into believing the demonstration is authentic, OR takes the longest to figure out how the “psychic” accomplishes the trickery, is eliminated. Survivor becomes Randi’s heir-apparent at the [James Randi Educational Foundation,](http://www.randi.org/) and takes over administration of the Million Dollar Challenge once James dies or otherwise becomes incapacitated. At the end of each episode, Randi performs a conjuring trick which makes the loser appear to vanish into thin air!
