I’ve watch 14 (IIRC) seasons, and if that rumor is true I won’t watch this season. I’m done with Hantz and Boston Rob. Give someone else a chance, and please dump the stooopid rule changes. ---

I stopped watching several seasons back. But I’m curious. A couple of people are saying last season was really bad - what happened? ---

In season 1, the tribe with more players at the merge simply picked off the other tribe one by one. The one change they should keep is the mixing of the tribes once or twice before the merge to create a more unpredictable mix of alliances and loyalties. ---

The “singing fruitcake” was Wanda, who is actually local to me here in Lancaster, PA. I don’t know her personally, though. ETA: And seriously, I think Mark Burnett has an enormous woody for Rob Mariano. Don’t get me wrong, I like Rob. But he’s like Burnett’s muse. Besides, who would leave their newborn baby for over a month to be on a reality show? Seriously? ---

Rumors are [true](http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/video/?pid=vL7VLkrAxJOV3pgtkjq1SrmxwRBGBXVk) as far as Rob and Russell returning. It doesn’t say exactly how it will work, though. ---

Actually, in season 1 the two tribes were even going into the merge, with 5 players each. The Pagong tribe, however, had virtually no internal alliances while the Tagi tribe (Richard Hatch, Sue Hawk, et al) voted together and picked them off one after another. Since then, tribes that suffer a similar fate are said to be “Pagonged.” ---

Survivor! Starring Russell Hantz, Jeff Probst, and 16 other people. I had no doubt he’d be back someday, (and reality shows seem to be Rob’s career, so it’s no real surprise there either) but it’s way too soon. I watched last season all the way through, so I can’t honestly say I’m going to stop watching. If last season didn’t do it, nothing will. But still… this is lame. ---
