Just wondering, is that necessarily true? Statistical probability aside, isn’t there tremendous shade variation among full-blooded Africans anyway?

One of my great-grandfathers (father of my paternal grandmother) married the sister of my paternal grandfather. They had one child, so that side of the family tree is a bit knotted (I’m my own 2nd cousin or uncle or something).
