# Whoa Whoa...Wolverine is a girl?

If you’re counting clones, then you gotta count long-term parallel-world substitutions in which case Uncle Ben was alive for quite a while (6+ months?). There was a story arc in the later '90s (after the Spider-Clone stuff, before the JMS stuff) where an evil Uncle Ben from a parallel world ended up on ours. I have no idea how the story turned out as I’d long since quit the book, but he was in a number of issues I read at the comic shop. (I assume he was sent home or died horribly…or both, perhaps. 😉 )

And most likely reborn after FC, since Earth-51 was implied to become a new New Genesis/Apokalips.

Of course, there’s presumably a new version hanging around in the New 52.
