I’d feel bad, but my state went for Gore w/o my vote) 1996 Clinton 1992 Clinton 1988 Dukakis 1984 --I honestly don’t remember 1980 Anderson? 1976 Carter (I think…didn’t like him much) 1972 McGovern 2008 Obama The cool thing about this year’s election is we’ll either have a black prez or we’ll have a female VP, hopefully the former. I honestly don’t think McCain/Palin are all that bad. Not voting for them, but think they’d do a decent job. ---

'84- Mondale '88- Fulani (I was young and wanted to save the world) '92- Clinton '96- Clinton '00- Nader (I wasn’t happy with what the 'Pubs or the Dems had to offer) '04- Kerry (Didn’t want to give another vote to “W”) '08- will vote for Obama (doing volunteer work for the local Democratic party too) I’m really stoked about Obama this year, but I would like to see a viable third party emerge to breathe life back into our election process. ---

1988: Ron Paul (not for any love of the man-I didn’t know a thing about him- but I loathed Reagan and didn’t like Dukakis much better, my state Alabama’s gonna go Republican always anyway, and I thought a third party might be a good idea [he was the Libertarian candidate]) 1992: Clinton (though I’ll admit to an embarassing flirtation with Ross Perot briefly in '92 before he proved to be a nutjob and the gestapo like way he treated his employees and other scandals came out. In a way he was a predecessor of Obama and Palin in demonstrating just how sick people are of D.C. B.S. and career insiders) 1996: sat it out- don’t remember why exactly, save that I had something to do and it was a foregone conclusion that 1- AL was gonna go Republican but 2- Bob Dole had snowball/hell chance on the national level 2000- Gore (not terribly enthusiastic, but didn’t dislike him either- was voting for him as much as voting against Bush). Earlier that year I’d supported McCain in the primaries and would have in the election; he’s ironically the one and only Republican PotUS candidate I’ve ever supported. 2004- Kerry (with no enthusiasm at all, totally voting against Bush [knowing it was futile in GA]) 2008- Obama, with real enthusiasm for the first time since '92. ---

U.S. elections? 1992 - Clinton. 1996 - Clinton. 2000 - Gore. 2004 - forgot to apply for absentee ballot. 2008 - decided not to vote. ---

I moved to a different county in summer of 2004, but went and voted in my old county in the '04 election. I’ve been meaning to go get registered in my current county for 4 years, and just haven’t gotten around to it yet. 🙂 I think you had to be registered by 10/6 to vote, and I’m sure my registration in my old county has lapsed by now. ---
