How about the Morrigan? Worship her as a single entity or spread it out over 3 days (bringing you to 12) to celebrate her triple goddess nature. Minimizes worshipping paraphernalia, locations and allows for potential reuse of sacrifices if needed. ---

Personal favourites… and going with the “long time dead” theme: 1. [Mictlantecutli](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mictlantecutli)– Aztec god of the dead. He’s got a cool name, and rules a place “where the streets are on the left”, that has a howling wind of obsidian flaying knives and a river of blood with jaguars in it. Jaguars! 2. [Ereshkigal](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erishkigal)– Inanna’s older sister, and Sumerian goddess of the underworld “from which there is no return” – so it’s probably a good idea to stay laying up favours with her. and on a slightly different note: 1. Völundr, aka [Weyland the Smith](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayland_Smith). Perhaps useful for someone who has a considerable interest in dire and nefarious machines **Skald** , while also being the sort of chap that when crossed would fashion goblets from the skulls of his captor’s offspring. ---

You could try [**Glycon**](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycon), a snake-god, who has the only slight handicap of being a puppet. I mean a literal puppet. He has at least one [modern worshipper](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycon), though, so you’d be in good(?) company. There’s also **Crom** —for what good that would do you—though you’d have to choose between[Robert Howard Crom](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crom_%28fictional_deity%29) and [Marvel Comics Crom](http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/crom.htm). Though the effective difference probably isn’t going to be that great. ---

I don’t know that that’s a quality I want in a deity. How about [ᒪᓂᑑ](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manitou) (Manitou), or the [神](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kami) (kami) of Japan, spirits of place and the Great Interconnectedness? Too abstract? ---
