This was my first reaction.

Sending in muscle escalates the conflict. Sending in brains ends it.

Ack! That’s no good, his bones would break if the aliens just looked at him funny. And in that suit of armor, there’s gonna be plenty of looking at him funny.

Maybe if he had Beta Ray Bill as backup, tho…
