You said saved us from a detestable human being ,when you meant to say gave us 2, Bush and Cheney. That is as low as it gets. Tell you what, go out and play around with some stock emulators or a video game with a robust market system (Well Eve Online since it’s the only one) and make a billion, record how long it takes. After that record how long it takes to get to the second billion. When you’re working with a billion and you are sufficiently diversified you can lose millions on one investment and recover it on another. It’s absolutely true that the first billion is the hardest. As for the OP, Al Franken is a bloated gasbag, but sometimes that’s what you need. Glad he took Pickens to task over that bullshit. Kerry’s response about being too busy meeting with his internal staff was brilliant. 😉 ---
