Did you read the article? This occurred while Pickens was being hosted (“warmly” according to the article) at a Democratic policy lunch.

This is not really a debate and there are too many tangents and insults to attempt to clean up.

The topic is not closed to Great Debates, (provided a coherent topic can be formulated), but this thread is closed before I have to issue Warnings to a large number of posters.
