I know Whoopi read the Martin Niemöller poem/saying at the Oscars (or maybe it was the Grammys). My google-foo is weak and I can’t find it online. It must be somewhere. Any ideas? Here is the famous version, although Pastor Niemöller may have used several different versions and this one might be assembled from multiple sources: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a Trade Unionist Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me ---
