I think they made a hole in the house on purpose so that they could answer the question all Mythbuster fans have: does the carpet match the drapes?

I would think the crew knew what was on the other side. Just because Tori didn;t know his surroundings dosn;t mean no one there knew them.

I’m betting this will be the most-watched episode of Mythbuster’s ever. In fact, I’m betting that right now there are a bunch of network exec.s trying to figure out whether there’s a way to promote it as a primetime special without being derided as “tasteles” for the rest of their careers.
“We’ll make it the centerpiece of a Bloopers show!” “Yeah, that’s the ticket!”
Also, countdown to the Toyota commercial? “Sienna, so comfortable, you’ll never want to get out!”

Wimpy-ness? I actually hope this incident DOES have a chilling effect on their over-reliance of explosions, cannons and firearms. It seems like almost every show has them blowing up something. I actually enjoy the ones that don’t involve explosions, like the Monty Hall problem, airplane on a treadmill, the coughing in your elbow, rat urine on the cans, blue ice kinds of mythbusting. If that’s “wimpy” give me wimpy. I mean, yeah, we know shit blows up. And if it doesn’t blow up enough, they’ll just ramp it up anyway. Boring…
