I’ve been busy so I didn’t find out until today (although a little birdie told me it would be happening a few weeks back). Five bucks is **nothing** for a year subscription IMO. I used to run a fairly active BB and I know how much time, effort, bandwidth, etc, these things can suck up. I just signed up not 5 minutes ago. ---

Has anyone actually read all of the responses in this thread? Not that I’m implying that everyone is posting just to see if the Charter Member is going to come up under their names. I’m not implying that at all. I’m coming right out and saying it, dammit. 😃 Really, really hoping I see that Charter Member note under my name ---

I’m in. But I signed up yesterday, and in another thread in this forum, my title just says “member” instead of “charter member.” Not that I really expect a reply, but by posting this I can see if it changes with a new post! Why are some titles “member” and some “guest?” I thought everyone was a guest until they subscribed, and that everyone who subscribes until April 22 was a charter member. So why are there member titles? I’m so confused. Oh, and as long as I’m posting anyways, kudos for a couple of other changes I’ve noticed: the threads now take up the entire width of the screen, and the “show your signature” checkbox is now checked by default. Both welcome changes. ---

Used PayPal yesterday to cash in on the bargoon of the year…don’t fear the PayPal, people! Promply managed to lock myself out of the SDMB by mucking with my control panel from home…I just _had_ to correct the out-dated email listed there…without thinking that the verification email would be sent to work, not home. But it’s all right now (I think!) ---
