question:
top left-user name
to the right of that-box with check mark in it
some have white background,some blue,and mine was orange the last time I used it.I can’t remember what this means or where to find it,but casually looking around,mine is the only orange background I’ve seen.How is this meaingful?
If mine is no longer orange,I’d still like to know what the colors mean.

It’s _supposed_ to indicate if you’re online or not (that is, your seession on the SDMB is still active and hasn’t timed out.) Blue means offline and yellow means online, at least in IE. If you hover your mouse over it, the tooltip will tell you what the status is.
