Every time I see “Charter Member” I can’t help imagine I’m standing in front of a classroom one evening, feeling out of place in a room with crayoned drawings on the walls and little desks I can barely fit in. I tap the mike and it whines. I stammer “Uh, I’m, uh … I’m a Corner Case, and, uh, I’m, uh … I’m, uh, a Trekker.” The sparse audience looks up and says, “HI CORNER CASE”.

Come Thursday, my mother will have sufficient funds in her Paypal account to make a $5 subtraction make little enough difference that it won’t bother her. Now all I have to do is endure seeing “Guest” under my name and not have any post count.
