Vinyl Turnip was my fave quipster, but it seems he/she never made the transition over here to the new board, alas. I also wonder about Quasimodem from many years ago. I believe he was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimers and while he would pop in occasionally post-diagnosis to give us a wave and a ‘hi’, it’s been a long time now between visits. ---

I remember Quasimodem. Wasn’t he a respiratory therapist, and actually posted a lot more on GB? If that’s who I think he is, it’s doubtful that he’s still alive. He seemed like quite a remarkable person, and so did his wife. ---

Yeah, I also had some nice interactions with Quasimodem, most not long after I joined the board in 2009. He had dementia and had a blog about his struggle with it, used to post more sparingly with the years and then faded completely. I miss him. ---
