I found out from another poster just now that the Game Room mod @RickJay has been MIA since July. Shouldn’t he have resigned his moderator position if his absence was planned? ---

**RickJay** is not a Moderator, I believe he did quietly step down. I’m not sure of the details or why he’s missing. Hopefully all is OK. It looks like it happened back at the end of March. ---

**@Saint_Cad** has been MIA since 1 December. Being away from the Board during the holiday season is not in itself that uncommon, except that he has a [live Xmas playlist thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/lets-build-a-straight-dope-christmas-spotify-list/975749) that runs between Thankgiving and Christmas every year that he’s suddenly vanished from.
