Geez, if that 2:1 possession time keeps up it’s gonna give heart attacks to fans around the US tonight! Here’s hopin’ we can get an insurance goal so the next 45 minutes aren’t like that. ---

Halftime and we are safe so far, though if we continue to concede the first 55 yards of the field to _Los Tricolores_, we’re gonna get punished… I, for one, will take Berhalter and Pope and Sanneh in the back, even if Berhalter can’t one time a ball anywhere but long, over the disaster we had with Agoos in the back. Let’s hope Mexico don’t solve the situation next half! ---

Oh man… I have to go to bed. (I have to wake up in 4 hrs!!) I just thought I’d log on to say that was a fun first half. I don’t know about this defensive stance that Arena’s playing… but I think he feels that we have a pretty effective quickstrike attack. (OK, it’s working fine… but god darn it, I’m gonna have a heart attack here!) God Bless Friedel and Sanneh. I have this to say about Friedel… I didn’t know much about him other than the hissy he threw when he didn’t get to play in some game that both he and Keller flew here for. I knew Keller and liked Keller, so I was praying it was the right move. Boy has he acquitted himself in my eyes. He is playing GREAT! ---

70% possesion to Mexico. It will be interesting to see what they pull out in the second half. The baords will be down for maintenance when this match ends. ☹ ---

The ESPN GameCast is how I had to watch the match with Korea, coz the game was on ESPN2. It’s informative, good commentary, shot chart, live stats, only lags a minute or two behind the action…but it’s a far cry from watching the game. Sorry you couldn’t find somewhere to watch the game **blur** ☹ ---
