I’m definitely staying. I’m fairly tight on cash, but I’d like to be able to sponsor one or two of the “I’m under 18, but insanely bright and don’t want to gooooo” people. AIM or email me about it. 'Fraid I won’t be able to stay. My parents are not only internet-phobes (I Dope at school) but I have no credit cards, not to mention no money to speak of. Too bad, though…I really like the Dope and I don’t know of any other net place I’d rather hang out in (not to mention end sentences with prepositions in) So…farewell to all the Trek dopers and the Great Debaters! ---

Hey, it must be in the lap of the Gods that I discovered this board just under the wire to become a member AND get to opt in at the discount rate as a charter 😃 This is my first post here and I am using it to say hey, 5 bucks is laundry change I can waste and procrastinate longer about dragging my clothes down two flights of stair outdoors to the laundry room to clean. Didnt get much “free” time before I up into the anty but heck “free” in life is only an illusion most of the time anywho… Glad to be counted in, now just have to think of a signature 🙂 ---

Oh, I’m so in. How can I leave when I’ll be having my Five Year Doper Anniversary in a few months? Even if things don’t work out, there would be a gratifying dramatic tension in being one of the hardy holdouts at the end. But I’m confident that this will become an even better place. I wonder if the ones who end up staying will be predominantly newer or older members, or neither? ---
