The new commercials, where one guy is a PC, and the other is a Mac, and the Mac says he’s so much better than the PC. Who’s the guy playing the PC? He looks so familiar. ---

Now that the board’s working normally again, I can finally say that I enjoy Hodgeman’s appearances on _The Daily Show_ (especially the recent one about the musical essay about dropping cobras on Iraq) as well as his book _The Areas of My Expertise_ (especially his in-depth history of the Hobo Rebellion of 1932). ---

I am such a dope, because when these Mac PC commercials come on I will stop fast-forwarding. The one where Hodgman crashes is the best. ---

I think these commercials are some of the best ads I’ve ever seen. They make me want to go buy an Apple computer, and I’ve NEVER wanted to do that before. Great stuff. ---

I love his appearances on TDS, as well. His delivery style is totally unlike the other correspondants, who, I’m sorry to say, all do a very similar character. Really, you could have any one of them do any piece and it wouldn’t matter much. Hodgman’s got a nice, distinct thing going on that adds to the show, IMHO.
