Or Maggie- after all she is quite handy with a gun for an infant, having shot Mr. Burns, and then a group of Fat Tony’s Mafia types to protect Homer (the Springshield episode).

I think the wisest character is Mr Bergstrom, Lisa’s substitute teacher from the first season.
