Looks like a mecca for suicides. 
I was thinkin’ that too so you know what they should do to change a potential jumper’s mind? Plant a bunch of cactus down below. People are crazy. They’ll do death by cop, jump in front of a train, eat a bullet, etc. But no matter how suicidal someone is, they ain’t gonna want their last memory on Earth to be landing in a cactus patch. Plus, the stuff would prpbably thrive there so low maintenance costs.
