Overall I enjoyed it. I could have done with less music - halve all the segments. The visual effects were amazing - fabulous - stunning. The guy in the wheat field was interesting, but too long. We got the idea, get on with it. I fast-forwarded through k d lang. I couldn’t pick Nelly Furtado out of a lineup, but the chick in that blue dress was HOT! Even with the stripper shoes. But what the hell was up with Bryan Adams? Dude, you’re not a teenager. Spiking the hair? That suit with the tie pulled down in a “I have to wear a tie, but I don’t have to like it” look? They don’t make you look young and hip, they make you look like an old dork. I was watching the recording on my DVR. NBC edited down the snafu wait, but I didn’t get to see because the recording ended before the three columns got in place. Seen snips in replay since. ---
