On the rare occasions when I spark notice and comment, the word that seems to come up the most is “nice” so I guess I’m “nice” - whatever that means. IRL, I’m a smart-ass… but I’m nice about it. I’m closing in on the half-century mark, ex-Navy, still working for the Navy as a civilian aerospace structural engineer, and I’d rather sail than just about anything. I birthed the Perfect Child[sup]TM[/sup] and she’s now a sophomore in high school. My husband is a licensed Coast Guard 50-Ton Master (yeah, I like 'em big, no I don’t call him “Master”) and we have 2 idiot dogs. How do you like me so far? 😃 ---

I’m a non-smoking, clean, sober, celibant vegetarian. In short, I’m no fun at all. I have a rare blood disorder shared only by 11 females in my family and one outsider (who we suspect had a relative conceived on the wrong side of the blanket as it were). I am somewhat psycic and have to ability to be almost invisible. I have a huge CD collection of Andrew Lloyd Webber cast recodings in 20 different languages. which is worth considerably more than I paid for it. ---

I am the Original Swedish Chick. As far as I know I was the first Swede on the board. I’m a language dweeb, and I can freak people out by imitating American accents really well (brag, brag). That being said, blushing _is_ flirting, at least as far as I’m concerned. Or at least an invitation to flirting, and attempts to make the blusher blush more are _definitely_ flirting. I mention this because that’s pretty much how our first…um…_encounter_ went (not the Flirt Academy one, the other one). However, if you want to flirt with me, I’m _always_ amenable. 🙂 To return to the OP (or get there at all :o): I’m a computer programmer, avid swing dancer (duh), dog and cat fancier, computer gamer, and skier (snow, not water). I am a twenty year old college student, currently majoring in Biology. I have been on the boards a while, but don’t post a lot cause I rarely have anything worth saying 😉 I am a triplet and **Shera** is one of my triplet sisters. The other one isn’t on the boards…yet:) **Tyrrell McAllister** is also my brother, and although I doubt that many people know who he is, since he never posts, he is the one who introduced me to the boards. I know pretty much anything there is to know about Episodes 4,5,and 6 in the Star Wars Saga, but Episode 1 turned me off the Star Wars obsession (Jar Jar needs to die!). I also am an avid Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fan, and know quite a bit about that as well. I have, as of Saturday, taken up the guitar and will be annoying the hell out of my sister while I practice poorly played cords. I work at a California State Park as a seasonal park aid. I almost never make it to the Bay Area Dopefests, because I never notice them till they are over, and, as a result, almost no one knows who I am.🙂 ---

Now that _I’ve_ been successfully lured into this thread… I am indeed an ex-submariner, an O-ganger (officer) to be exact, but don’t hold it against me. 😛 Actually, I’m still in the Navy. For the last few years, I’ve been teaching chemistry and physics to midshipmen. However, this is soon coming to an end, as I’m getting out in five months. I’m currently finishing my master’s thesis in Environmental Engineering, which will hopefully help me land a real job in February.
