How are these lists determined, anyway? A would be the big name movie stars. B would be big name TV stars and not so big name movie stars, etc?.. ---

[/QUOTE] If I had to guess, it’s a cross-pollination between two different ranking systems: The Hollywood A-List for bankability, and a given celebrity’s Q-Score, which tracks their popularity and likeability. ---

[/QUOTE] There can be exceptions for certain zeitgeist-generating TV shows, however. I’d say, for example, Jennifer Aniston became A-list while still on Friends. Same goes for Jerry Seinfeld. But those might be the only two TV shows in the past decade that could spawn someone like that. I mean, even on a show with a huge yet also cultish following like Lost, no one on there is A-list. ---

No idea who Bass, Meadows or Roderick are (even with the hint – didn’t know that there was a “Baywatch Hawaii”). Of course I know who Leslie Nielsen is and would have him as more of a B-list guy. Kathy Najimy’s name is vaguely familiar – was she in “Sister Act”? I sort of liked Ricki(sp?) Lake as an actress in John Water’s stuff, but not so wild about daytime talkshows as a rule. ---

**Brett Butler**. Seriously. Whatever happened to her, anyway? I always expected great things from her, and have been consistently disappointed that I haven’t. She rules. I’ve been a **Paul Dooley** fan since I saw _Strange Brew_ in the theater, back in 1983, but I couldn’t tell you why. I’m always surprised to see him turn up in movies and TV shows, and I’m always happy to see him. I also like MTV’s **Karen Duffy** , but she also seems to have dropped off the face of the earth, and I miss her. ---
