Gonna have to take your word for it because I can’t take more than about 90 seconds of either without wanting to throw a brick through whatever device is subjecting me to that drivel. I dunno, I’ve seen enough moronic and reprehensible human behavior from people IRL that I can’t manage to spend time and effort to watch more of it. ---

I have a co-worker who is giddily awaiting the results of the trial. She’s all in on Depp and it’s just annoying and frustrating. _She doesn’t know him!_ He’s just an actor she likes in the Pirate movies! She says “I don’t believe her even though we’re supposed to “believe all women”” with air quotes and I was just…deeply irritated. I don’t care who you’re backing here, but that attitude and fawning, shallow worship of someone makes me question their sanity and mental acuity. She has other favorite famous people, but that belongs in another forum. ---

Seems simple. There’s a lot of reasons to like Depp and not a lot of reasons to like Heard. He’s beloved by many for his past roles over decades, and not a lot of people want to believe Captain Jack Sparrow is a bad guy. Heard is practically a nobody, any being very attractive is probably more of a drawback to her than vice versa. I have to admit, her “poor baby” tone she takes in the recordings makes my skin crawl. They’re both effed up individuals but I think she has the edge on malevolence. ---

I think there is still some possibility that this jury made their decision based on the evidence presented in the trial instead of who likes who. ---
