Why all the hate for small dogs?

Just a personal story on how people friendly my 3 little dogs are:

Yesterday I had an internet tech repair woman come into the house. Now, I rarely have visitors (as in…NEVER) and my 3 small dogs were DELIGHTED, no barking or jumping, but loads of tail wags and Cricket, the oldest Papillon, dragging out her toys one at a time to lay at the girl’s feet before rushing off to get another. Then all 3 dogs lined up on the back of the couch to watch her work, staying well out of the way but obviously facinated by her.

She said they were the best little dogs she had come across in her job.

I have big dogs too, 2 Gordon Setters, so I am not anti-big dog. I just cannot understand people that judge a dog ONLY by its size.

I grew up with big BIG dogs. More recently, I’ve spent a lot of time around a little dog.

I like the little guy. I didn’t realize how much easier a dog could be if you didn’t have to buy a Suburban just to take them to the vet (we had a 200-lb Saint).
