# Why Are Advertising Links Slow To Load?

I clicked on one of the SD advertising links about “biggest boobs in Hollywood” and the list of pages were really slow to load.

Because it’s downloading all sorts of crap to your computer before showing you the boobs?

Because they’re being pulled from a very busy third-party server, and as \*\*saje \*\*says, they’re often doing a lot more than showing you a 3k GIF file.
