In a sense where the “perfect” guy is a man who goes mudding, fixes cars, wears hats, and drinks watered down american beers all the time. Seriously, the stereotype is lame, i’m on one of those dating sites and so many women have told me i’m not their type (i live in the south) because i’m not a “redneck guy” or a “southern guy” or they like guys who “like to get down n dirty with them” It’s ridiculous, i have to be some moron who rolls around in dirt and uses tools to be attractive and masculine? Cool, i’ll stay woman-like then. I’m proud too. 100%. ---

If it makes you feel better, women in Jersey like guys with spiky hair, tans and who take steroids. I guess it depends on the local culture. ---

The heart wants what the heart wants. It is similar to the crotch in that respect. You might as well resent them for their eye color since they have no moe choice over that then they do who they find attractive. ---

I’m all about indie music, craft beers, and awesome bikes, but I’m also about guns, gamblin’, and grits. Whenever I show my redneck side women get lost. ☹ And southern/rural/conservative women won’t touch me with a ten foot pole. F me. ---

Let me throw this observation into the toxic witches’ brew we’re stirring here . . . Yes, from a male point of view, it sure does seem that all you females are awfully totally completely intractably judgemental. (I prefer the British spelling here. So sue me.) One wonders how it can be that more than a minuscule percentage of all males can _ever_ get laid . . . And, by all appearances that I’ve been able to observe, females can fairly have exactly the same complaint about males. One wonders how it can be that more than a minuscule percentage of all females can ever find male partners, males being as picky as they are. Clearly, one would expect to find _couples_ only very rarely, out there in the natural world, with only a scant few people of _either_ description ever getting coupled up. Yet everywhere one looks, couples seem very common. Somebody, explain _that!_ ---
