You live in Southern California? I saw TV (on HGTV?) that said bathtubs aren’t very popular in warm climates as opposed to cold ones.
My tub is 24" x 55" with a separate water heater 
I’m only 5’10" but I consider most shower heads too low and it annoys me. So for this past christmas I bought a new shower head with a hose as a present to myself and I thank myself everytime I shower.

I got to use one of these at a bed and breakfast. The fact that the house had been built in the nineteenth century surely had something to do with it.
