Wrong- it will now be clear that the GOP did a sneaky secret kill of ACA.
On election day in 2024 people were googling to figure out who kamala harris was and why biden wasn’t on the ballot.
So? There is always someone, somewhere who is clueless.
There are actually a lot of someones.
There are still a large number of folk in the few swing states who will contiue to vote R, no matter how badly R policies affect them. Like DeadTreas says, a WHOLE LOT of someones. The only hope is that there are enough not entirely braindead R voters who can be swayed - or encouraged to stay home. Or enough lazy stupid D leaners in those same few states who can be convinced to make the supreme effort of filling out a mail ballot.
So fucking infuriating that having a DECENT society - not even the wonderful society our wealthy country can easily afford - depends on that.
Of course there are. But as we have seen in the last three presidential elections, just 2% going from one party to the other can change the election. We dont need trump & the GOP to lose 20% of their voters, in fact all we need is a couple % of GOP voters to stay home in disgust and a couple % of Indy voters to come to the Dems.

What a crazy, unforeseen development!
Here’s an even crazier one: four Republican representatives broke ranks with Mike Johnson, and joined the Democrats to force a vote on a three-year extension to the expanded ACA subsidies.
However, it looks like such a vote won’t occur before the new year, and it’s not clear if it would pass the Senate, anyway.
Four Republicans can feel which way the wind is shifting.
Oh more than that but four had the cojones to put their votes on it.
