# Why are farts internationally funny?

Thanks, **Colibri**! I didn’t have the cite readily at hand.

And note that the tablet refers to the subject as being known “since time immemorial”! So even 4000 years ago, fart jokes were a very old story.

Heh. The _real_ reason God kicked Adam out of the garden of Eden was because Adam tried the “pull my finger” joke.
