# Why are mt cats out of sync?

Hey all,

My cats seem to have the seasons all screwed up. Now that it is November they are shedding hair like mad. They did the same thing last year and I have no idea why they are shedding fur when winter is coming. They are indoor cats, I keep my apartment at about 75 all year long and they get a lot of sunlight. I thought that the reduced sunlight and cooler temps would cause them to keep the fur. (My apartment isn’t well insulated so I know when they hang out at the Windows the air is cooler)

Any ideas?

My ex- had a cat the shed merrily along throughout the year. Season didn’t seem to make a noticeable difference to me.

Say, maybe your cats came from South America and their internal clocks haven’t reset yet?
