Ugh. Threads like this make me want to write-off the BBQ Pit entirely. (Oooooh, my first flame-- neat!) Anyway, I’m just going to throw this out and go seek a more stimulating conversation… It is silly to call “religious people” in general _spackers, wankers, gits_ or any other nifty abusive British slang terms you have to throw at us _yanks_. If you must abuse a social group, pick on somebody more specific ya manky scots git! 😃 ---

This’ll only advance the issue a little bit, but when it comes to public debates, religious folks really do take the cake. They make all sorts of outlandish claims and yet insist they’re exempt from having to prove anything. They make the most outrageous accusations against certain people, but if you disagree with them, they accuse you of violating their civil rights.
