# Why are some "Banned" & "Suspended" threads opened for comment?

The subject says it all.

**Evil Captor** ’s suspension thread was left open for replies.

**Weirddave** ’s suspension thread was a one-post and closed thread.  
I know that they’re probably all heading to the pit anyway, but is there any logic to keeping some of them open while insta-closing others?

Just to be definitive and clear: we close all threads about someone being banned or suspended, because they are unable to respond.
