The advantage of oil is that you just pull it out of the ground for essentially free. It’s easy to move around, store, and use as a fuel source. Other major fuel sources (like natural gas, coal, wood) are like that as well - the raw materials are lying around us for the gathering.
(This is an oversimplification, there are costs to gathering all of those fuel sources but lets ignore that for now.)
There are plenty of other exotic fuels that pack more of a punch, but they are much more expensive to create from raw materials. Or you have to put more energy into the process than you get out of the fuel. Who cares of if you have concentrated power if you can only produce a tiny amount and it costs more than you have to spend?
We have rocket fuels that meet your criteria, but they are too expensive to make, to dangerous to use effectively, and impractical for other logistic reasons. You’re basically asking science to create magic for free.
