_sigh_ I met an incredible girl at a Russian Club movie night on campus last night. Nice, smart, beautiful. After this party we chatted on IM for about 2 hours last night, and 3 hours so far tonight and still going. Having great conversations about the differences in how men and women interact with each other, along with everything else under the sun. Already discussed that we both find each other attractive and interesting. Of course she has a boyfriend. Some guys have all the luck! ☹ Oh well, I have a new friend who is really cool! 🙂 ---

Hey, cynical, I browsed your photos from your big trip the other day (new to the board and just catching up)… There has got to be a good one out there who likes a guy with good travel taste, to say the least. I was very jealous of that trip. And, seconded. Boyfriend is a lot different than married. ---

Yep, a lucky guy to have a girlfriend who chats up strangers at a party then later talks with them for hours online. Sure doesn’t sound like she’s too into her “boyfriend” to me…Maybe she finds you a lot more interesting than the guy she’s currently with. ---

The best ladies only like bad boys, not nice guys: it’s a well-documented fact. That’s how I got mine - hot Japanese chicks can’t resist a Marlboro smokin’ bourbon drinkin’ guy sporting sunglasses, a goatee, tattoos, and a leather jacket. If you like, I can sign you up for my course. ---

I met my wife when we were in college. She had a boyfriend of three years at the time. As long as the guy isn’t a friend of yours (guy code: Hands off), I say fair game. ---

My bets are on the fact that her boyfriend is the over jealous type (although, possibly justified, the way this girl makes friends) and will either drive the this girl away from him (meanwhile she cries on your shoulder, score 1 for CynicalGabe); or he will find you and fight you. If he wins, she may come to hate such violent tendencies and leave him for you in pity. If you win, score 2 for CynicalGabe, you get a point for victory and a bonus point for that same pity over your swollen eye. But what do I know? I’m just just watch too many romance movies. But hey, if I come close with any of these, just call me “Nostradamus-face”. 😃 ---

If she’s spent 5 hours chatting with you online, she’s not very far into the taken category. The only things standing between you and having her for a girlfriend are this:\* “My life is a lot less complicated when I just accept that some (most) women are just too good for me, and are perfectly capable of doing much better”\* and your computer.
