So it was Yellowstone you objected to, not the tents? And you think that makes you look better? The rest? Abbott hasn’t sent anyone to California, given it’s already a border state. Same with New Mexico and Arizona. A quick search of the rest determines they’re either still in use by the military, stored chemical weapons, disposed of munitions, or other less-than-healthy circumstances. Couldn’t find any internment camps to throw them in? How about Fitzsimons instead? Right there in Aurora, plenty of individual rooms. Might need some mild maintenance, given it’s been closed almost 30 years, but who gives a damn? ---

_Why isn’t Biden doing anything about the refugee problem?_ Simultaneously: _We are going to vote against any legislation to do something about the refugee problem, because that would make Biden look good._ The combination of stupidity, arrogance and cruelty is something to behold. ---

I’d really love to see them try to tell anyone that they have to work 10 days for free, no matter the reason. This is utterly ridiculous. The bi-partisan deal that was worked on for more than 4 months was approved and gave the republicans a lot of what they asked for. Even the republicans on the committee said so. The union for the border patrol has approved of the bill. But the traitorous trump said don’t approve it and now it’s been killed. And the whole reason trump and the republicans who support him are saying no is because they believe the bad news about the border will help trump win the election. Everybody knows this. ---

Wouldn’t that save more money? And re Abbott vs. Biden-if Biden does nothing it hurts him. If he does something it can be painted in all kinds of ways that would be unfavorable to him. Not to say that he shouldn’t do anything, but his powers are limited without going overboard and doing something like stopping buses at the Texas border. That seems unworkable.
