Why are there only 5 threads in this forum. I thought - the last 50 or whatever your preference is - threads would be listed but there’s only 5. Is it actually “last 50 or whatever, within a given period of time” or some other criteria? ---

Look down at the bottom of the page. There’s a blue bar with “display options” on it. Below that there’s three pull down lists. The third is “from the” which allows you to set how far back you see threads. You’ve probably got it set to “last 2 days.” If you set it to “last 75 days” you’ll see a lot more threads. ---

Sometimes it’s really busy around here and other times not so much and so you see a lot of threads sometimes and sometimes just a few. You can change that as indicated above – change the number of threads you see on the page. But things are a tad slow right here right now. And that’s okay. ---

I thought my settings were last 100 posts for some reason. ---

It’s quite possible that you have your settings on “last 100 posts.” Check User CP/Edit Options/Number of Posts To Show Per Page for that setting. However, the setting below that in the User CP “Default Thread Age Cut-Off” is imposed before posts per page, so if you have the forum default (which for most of the board is two days posts), if there’s less than 100 posts that’s all you’ll see. You can adjust the settings to suit yourself.
