Well, I live in a somewhat small town, and I donā€™t have a whole lot of experience in this ā€œWho is Sexy and Who is notā€ thing. Because here, you are YOU, and no one seems to be concerned with your original nationality. Either you are an intelligent, good and witty person, or you are a turkey. Or, WHATEVER! (Whatever is never good, I think) Having said that, let me say that I have had the great good fortune to get to know **DRY** extremely well. And, I have to say, the man is seriously sexy! He is witty, intelligent, honest, loving and supportive. (I need to repeat, he is SO smart, and the best friend I was surprised to find online! I am a LUCKY woman!) And, he is of Asian extraction. Therefore, I declare that IMHO, asian men are extremely sexy, very intelligent and entirely ā€œJumpable worthy!ā€ (Well, THIS one, anyway. Sigh-Too bad I am too old.) Scotti ---

I like 'em. I mean, itā€™s not a fetish, but I personally have a thing for the funky/alternative Asian men. OK, I have a thing for funky/alternative men in general. But I definately donā€™t NOT think the entire Asian race is sexy. Yea, I know itā€™s a double negative. Deal. ---

I donā€™t know where you hang out, but at the bars I go to the Asian guys got the same moves as everybody else. The ones with dough flash it, the ones with threads have them finely tuned, and the ones with lots of hair have it combed just right. They get their share of action all right. ---

I noticed that Jet Li was a fantastic bad guy in Lethal Weapon IV, as far as hwomping ass like chain lightning was concerned, though he was too laconic to get an idea of how much personality the actor could put across. I havenā€™t ever seen one of his own pictures, and I wondered if he could be charismatic as well ā€“ you know, whether he could fill Jackie Chanā€™s shoes when Chan finally broke one bone too many. I was told that while Chan is charming in a Buster Keaton kind of way, Li is charming in more of a Gene Kelly kind of way. Well, I meanā€¦ Gene Kelly. Thatā€™s quite a claim for Li to have to live up to. Iā€™ll have to rent some of his films and find out. And while Iā€™m on the subject of asian men of the cinema, I was also impressed with the look of Etsushi Toyokawa, who played a Yakuza gangster in No Way Back. But as far as I can tell, thatā€™s the only American movie heā€™s done. ---

Johnny: Romeo Must Die is Liā€™s other big American movie (no, for the love of God, Black Mask doesnā€™t count). The movie was well made - for what it was, anyway - and Li was, IMHO, pretty darn funny. Esprix: Thanks, I aim to please. And thanks also for forgiving the ā€œsidestepping,ā€ - it wasnā€™t anything personal, hell, I donā€™t even know what to do when _girls_ compliment meā€¦ šŸ˜› ---

I must confess to an Asian fetish. IMO, Asian men are HOT! I was in love with Sulu as a little girl, I totally dig Bruce Lee, Jet Li (yum, yum, yum!) the Italian Iron Chef, Kobe and the (Japanese?) Iron Chef, the other younger one. Not that I would date someone based solely on nationality, nor would I disregard someone else for said nationality. Personality and brains are extremely important to me, not looks. However, when it comes to just plain eye candy, I love to look at Asian men. And I like men that are shorter than me. (Iā€™m 5ā€™7") Donā€™t ask why, I donā€™t know. There is just something cool about it to me.
