# Why cannot I read my older posts?

So, I clicked on my username, and then clicked on “Find all posts by HH”.

Barrelling along just fine, thank you. Admiring my prose, and keen wit, etc…

Clicked on page 6, which would be about August of this year, and get an admin page saying “Sorry, no posts, or something like that” when I know blamed well that I have many more, and the number of pages at the bottom (to be clicked on) goes at least to 15.

I clicked on 7, same thing. Clicked on 15, same thing.

Any way to defeat this?

re-do the search… search results will time out after a bit and give you a no results found error.

The system returns your last 750 posts. You have over 2,500 posts.

Go to [Advanced Search](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/search.php).

Use the drop-down menu to select older dates to get the older range.
