I’d seen the available ‘markets’ in towns up in North Dakota and Montana. I also found that venturing forth into the interior Canadian markets up in Winnipeg and Regina had a great clientèle, but those markets tended to cater only to Canadian buyers. I found the best lady of a lifetime though. I married a near-Canadian from Detroit, who, come to find out, in those parts is more northern than the Canadians in the area. So yeah, I get the best of both worlds: More Northern than a Canadian, and she can legally buy me guns. Tripler Yup. I married me a Michigander. 😃 ---

I love those statues, especially the one taking a picture of the spectators. But they aren’t associated with the CN Tower; they’re part of the Dome. ---

In this neck of the woods, nice means pleasant, polite, merciful or friendly. 200 years ago, it meant precise. Do any of those meanings fit some of the Canadian whiskeys you have had? (Or Canadian whiskeys that have had you?) Please understand, I’m not exactly standing up for Canada’s whiskeys. I’m a Kentucky Straight Bourbon guy, myself. ---
