# Why can't I paste into message boards

I have Windows 98 and Compuserve 6.0. I cannot copy/paste onto this board or several other boards I have posted on.

I draw a blank,as for example I cannot even copy the above two sentences and paste them here.

Can you copy and paste to other applicatiuons, such as Notepad? If you have the Clipboard Viewer installed, start it after copying something and see if the data is being stored right. Does it paste strange symbols or other garbage, or nothing at all?

Where are you copy/pasting from ?

What browser are you using ?

Does Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste work ?

Where are you copy/pasting from ?

What browser are you using ?

Does Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste work ?

Thanks XASH–just copied your message above w/ ctrl c and pasted with ctrl v as you suggested.–Worked great.

Guess I have problems in the Compuserve edit functions using the mouse?
