I was my wife’s family reunion a few years ago when one of her uncles pins me down for 20 minutes discussing various theories. After a bit, he gets into alternative medicine including colloidal silver including a long spiel about a physician (it could have been Dr. Wallach mentioned in the article but I’m really not sure) who had proof that a number of treatments were hugely successful but he was being shut up by the establishment. The whole thing reminded me of the ‘guy makes carburetor that gets 100 miles/gallon, Big Oil shuts him down’ stories from 20 years back. Anyway, after a lot of eyes glazed over forced smiling and vague nodding I managed to extricate myself and avoided him the rest of the get together. A couple of years later I saw him again and he definitely had a blue/gray pall in his face. ---

I thought it was what a drunken Lone Ranger called out when he was riding his horse. That was the Saturday morning connection I got reading the title.
