[I’ve been reading darn near daily since 1999 – I already own all the books, so it was the least I could do. Also, I wouldn’t have met the very special Doper I’m now with if it wasn’t for a spin-off of this board, so by extension, it’s out of gratitude. 🙂 ---

Because it’s about the price of a magazine and 1/10th the cost of a similar addiction, although the similar addiction includes regular real-life get-togethers with hugs and chocolate. Because it has some of the smartest, funniest, most compassionate people I’ve met. Because this way I get to continue flirting with **NoClueBoy, dantheman, Steve Wright, iampunha** (you _have_ subscribed, right?), etc. Because I have laughed, cried, flamed, and most importantly, learned here. I came here originally because of a Scylla story. I come and go and stay in spurts. I’m not a “regular” like it seems most of you are, but I didn’t want to pass up a great deal for when I do. I always laugh my ass off when I’m here and wonder why I don’t drop by more often. ---
