# Why Did Klingons, Vulcans, etc. All Speak Just a Single Language?

We really do not have a large sample size to make a determination of KLingon culture. Most time we have seen klingons have been aboard their warships. Imagine if the only samples of Earth culture we saw was when we vistited US Navy ships. How much of Earth would we know?
