I had a nice buzz going, but my back hurt from sitting in a chair for too long, so I took an Advil. I kept drinking, but suddenly (about an hour after taking a pill) I’m completely sober. What the heck did the Advil do?
I have never heard of that before.
I wonder if it has something to do with an interaction with your liver.
Hmmmm…
And, if this works for other people and isn’t toxic, you could be “patient zero” in a new study for a sober-up pill.
I googled this a bit, and the general opinion is that Advil helps the effects of over-drinking, but actually sobering you up seems to be unique to you.
