# Why did Roy Orbison only make one film?

OK, he’s not much of an actor. And _The Fastest Guitar Alive_ was pretty cheesy. But I guess I’ve seen worse actors and worse films, and it was an adequate vehicle for his music.

Because he wanted to concentrateon things he was good at. It’s as if he looked forward through the veil of time, saw the movie Glitter, and swore never to fall into the trap would befall Mariah.
