# Why did the NBA All Star Game Start 58 minutes late?

How can TNT get away with stating the game starts at 8, when it started nearly an hour later?

Because it can.

Your option is to not watch.

There are no Truth in Scheduling laws. It’s not any different than going to a rock concert and waiting a similar amount of time for the main act to come out.

Because they want you to watch as many extra commercials as they can fit in, and you - plural you - will.
