# Why didn't anybody tell me about this?...

Just heard the song “Goodnight Moon” by Shivaree. It’s on the Kill Bill II soundtrack. Loved it. Absolutely stunned at the music and the sexy sultry voice of the singer, Ambrosia Parsley. What a name, eh?

They’ve got 3 albumbs dating back to around 2000. Why didn’t anybody tell me about this band before? 😕

What bands/musicians have you discovered by chance that just blew you away the firts time? 🙂

THAT ONE\*\*. Oh man am I with you on that. Watched the movie, said “eh, ok…”. Had the music up while the closing credits played and went nuts.

I ended up buying ths soundtrack for that song.

That voice? Aural Viagra I say.

Agreed; it’s a great song on an excellent soundtrack from a terrific movie.

If you like Shivaree’s sound, check out Portishead, Morcheeba, Frou Frou, Massive Attack, and Lovage for similar slow, sultry, smoky, sexy female vocals over lush beats.
