Why didn't our lunches make us sick?

A while? Two minutes maybe?

I think the point of the handout was that leaving the sandwich in the refrigerator overnight means that it’ll warm up gradually over a few hours, as opposed to making the sandwich in the morning when the ingredients warm up as the sandwich is prepared. I dunno, it made sense at the time.

Some people* don’t refrigerate bread at all, so chilling the sandwich after making it would definitely have an impact.

*(normal ones)

Hmm, I may have to give that a try.

I don’t keep the loaf in the fridge, but I will put a sandwich in there.
